Bear Grylles, Woods, and a Couple of Friends...

This was an awesome shoot for me as I've known Phil & Emily for a while. I met them at the gym a couple of years ago now and we have become firm friends, so when they told me they wanted me to photograph their wedding in Fiskerton, Lincoln, I was stoked.

Its not something I'd usually do, shoot a friends wedding, business and pleasure is usually something I try and keep completely separate.. I'm not James Bond you know...

Except this occasion however when we met up for the engagement shoot at Chambers Farm Woods out near Wragby. What a day for exploring in the woods, made me feel like a James Bond/Bear Grylles cross, if you can imagine such a thing. I know some of you girls could...

Engagement shoots are so much fun especially when it's a new place for me. Having to think on my toes, find exciting and cool shots in a fresh environment is something I love to do..

We had perfect sunshine and an unusual warmth for the time of year, a good omen for the wedding I thought.

This was an awesome day shooting friends and sometimes its hard to remember that this is what I do for a living...

Lucky me? yeah maybe, I feel it sometimes with the clients I have...

So if you're getting married and want to be one of my amazing clients or know someone thats awesome then get in touch, I love hearing new love stories and getting my explorer hat and shorts on....
